II. Analyze one piece of artwork below by answering the following questions in the comment section at the bottom of the post:

III. With the members of your group, conduct an OPTIC Analysis of your assigned cover that uses specific vocabulary  from your notes. Next, please complete the following with a CEI Statement for each question. Be prepared to present your answers verbally with your group member.

  1. Analyze: Using three elements and three principles from class, please elaborate on the mood, theme, symbolic meaning, and purpose of the cover that your group has been assigned.
  2. Predict: Using the cover, what does your group believe the rising action and resolution will look like?

    The theme of the artwork is Human Experience, women of all shades and walks of life being portrayed in similar lights

    The most important principle in this artwork is the contrast in the star wars artwork but why this is important is because it tells/shows you a large difference between two things to create interest and aension.

    1. the most important principle for the artwork of the women altogether is Unity the color and shapes work very well together to make them into a well-formed artwork it really shows the unity.
    2. An element that is most important to this artwork is color because if the color were to be different then it really wouldn’t really fit the theme.
    3. In my opinion, the theme would be even If were are considered different we are all still women standing strong together fighting sexism.

    1. The most important principle is Rythm and Movement. The regular repetition of color elements creates the mood as a very important role of the piece. The color can tell the age of this painting. The pattern clothing, and the walls also.

    2. The form is the most important Element in the painting. The woman is the 3D object, and shes the center of attention. What the woman does in this painting is the most important because she stands out, that’s why the Form is the most important to make the painting have a realistic feel to stand out.

    I’m doing the one with elephant and the octopus. The most important element is the balance because the blending of the picture gives it meaning. The most important element is texture because you can see and feel the picture the objects of the picture. The theme is you have to change to be wise.

    The principle that is most important to this artwork is the obvious message which is “Stop Wars.” The element that is most important is the color, it’s attention grabbing and unique. The theme this artwork is supposed to teach is to simply stop wars. That could include ending violence either statewide, nationwide, or global wide.

    The important principle from the artwork of a drawing of women on walls is a balance because of its arrangement to create a feeling into the work. In that drawing, I feel like its trying to make us understand about women power.
    The important element of this artwork is color because it consists of the intensity and value of the artwork. It brings out the positivity of the picture and it explains more with the bright colors it has.
    The theme that is being developed n the artwork is the embracement of women and women power, no matter what color or race you are your as important as anyone else.

    The principle that is most important tot his artwork is asymmetrical balance because it focus on the big picture by shadowing the small picture.The element that is most important to this artwork is color. The theme of the art work is suppose to teach love and peace by taking two familiar images, so that people understand and recognize the meaning.
